In Vivo Models

In vivo models are an essential component of high-impact cancer research. Genetically engineered mouse models have revolutionized the understanding of tumour suppressors, oncogenes and cancer cell-of-origin.

These immunocompetent models are an essential platform for the preclinical assessment of novel immunotherapeutics. In parallel, patient-derived xenograft (PDX) models generated in immunodeficient mice are now considered the gold standard for preclinical and translational cancer research and drug development.
