The Community Oncology Program is proud to support healthcare professionals in advancing their knowledge and skills in oncology, blood disorders, and palliative care. These awards provide funding for training opportunities that strengthen cancer care across Manitoba and the Kivalliq Region.
Who Can Apply?
Eligible areas of training include, but are not limited to:
All awards must be oncology or palliative care related (50% or more of the content).
For Individuals:
For Groups:
Recipients may apply for continuing education credits through their professional organization. Family physicians may apply for self-learning credits from the College of Family Physicians in Canada.
Applicants should discuss their application with their manager prior to submission. If the training is required for their role (per job description), they should seek operational funding rather than PD Award funding.
