CancerCare Manitoba located in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada is a provincial agency which provides clinical and academic services and leadership for cancer control and the treatment of blood disorders. We invite applications for the position of:
Reporting to the CCMR Manager of Research Administration, the Senior Ethics & Regulatory Affairs (ERA) Clinical Research Professional (CRP), is responsible for training and providing ongoing support to the ERA CRPs who are activating and maintaining research studies at the Institute, as well as onboarding and training other clinical research staff positions at the Institute as designated.
As a member of the Research Office within the Institute, this position will work together with other members and staff at the Institute to facilitate research for Institute scientists, is responsible for completing study submissions, and participates in the development and maintenance of new clinical research policies as needed.
In addition, the incumbent will identify and initiate actions that will improve the effective and efficient functioning of the ERA CRP process, and others, at the Research Office. Participates in the accomplishment of CCMR and CCMB organizational goals and objectives. Will be an advocate for the provincial ethics, impact and privacy system, “RITHIM
Health Information Technologist/Health Information Management Diploma or post-secondary education in a health care field. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
Minimum of 5 years research experience working in ethics and regulatory affairs
Certification in clinical research (i.e. SoCRA) or willing to obtain certification within 2 years of employment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including the creation of graphs and charts
Satisfactory employment record
Must be able to legally work in Canada

Research experience in oncology
Experience leading and making presentations to groups, public speaking
Bilingual (French/English) written and verbal skills
Salary: As per CUPE collective agreement
Direct care workers are required to either be vaccinated for Covid-19 or to participate in on-going regular Covid-19 testing pursuant to Orders made under The Public Health Act C.C.S.M. c. P210.
