Professional Development Opportunities

The Community Oncology Program is pleased to offer Professional Development opportunities; previously known as Community Oncology Scholarships. These awards are designed for health professionals affiliated with Community Oncology Program and to family physicians and nurse practitioners in primary care practice within Manitoba who would like to enhance their knowledge and skills in cancer care and blood disorders in order to better serve the needs of their community.

Eligible areas include, but are not limited to:

Continuing Education Credits

Recipients may apply to their professional organization for credits. Family Physicians may apply for self-learning credits from the College of Family Physicians of Canada.

CancerCare Manitoba Foundation (CCMF) provides grant funding. Recipients will receive salary compensation or course / Conference registration fees. Other expenses may be funded with prior approval.
