| As of October 10, 2005 we have added 8000 mammogram appointments and will no longer offer the clinical breast exam (CBE) as part of the Manitoba Breast Screening Program (MBSP). Read about why we are making this change |

Manitoba Breast Screening Program has changed its name. We are now called "BreastCheck" CancerCare Manitoba. Nothing else has changed; we will continue to provide the same services.
The goals of BreastCheck are to:
- To reduce mortality from breast cancer
- To provide a service that is responsive to women
- To screen 70% of the population of Manitoba women 50 to 69 years of age
- To provide organized follow-up of results
The fact sheets in this section of our Web site provide an overview of BreastCheck, a summary of our latest program results and a screening research reference list.
Our program also produces an annual report of results. Download the biennial report.
