ColonCheck was established in 2007 and is funded by Manitoba Health.

The goal of ColonCheck is to detect colon cancer early and reduce the number of Manitobans who die from the disease. The program is targeting men and women at average risk between the ages of 50 - 74 to be screened with a fecal occult blood test (FOBT), also known as the home screening test.
