Finding out that your child has cancer may be the hardest news you have ever had to face.

The Pediatric Oncology Team at CancerCare Manitoba are experts in each of their areas. In addition to the doctors and nurses, there are child life therapists, music therapists, rehabilitation professionals, a school teacher and a social worker - all here to help you and your child through this experience. You likely have met many of these team members already.

If you are wondering about available resources please visit the Treatment Services section of the CCMB Web site which has links to many other resources on the Internet in the area of Pediatric Oncology.

Do not hesitate to discuss any questions or concerns with your nurse or doctor or visit our Patient and Family Resource Centre.
