CCMB's Patient & Family Newsletter
The mandate of the Patient Representative's role is to act as a liaison between patients, their families and CancerCare Manitoba staff. This confidential service strives to address concerns, answer inquiries and act on suggestions in a respectful, compassionate and timely manner.
The Patient Representative also receives staff commendations, which are forwarded to both the staff member and immediate supervisor. These staff are also recognized in our monthly newsletter.
Feedback received by the patient representative helps CancerCare Manitoba to identify areas of concern, design new or modify existing programs, streamline processes and improve the quality of patient care.
The Patient Representative is available for patients, families and support people at all CancerCare Manitoba sites.
The Patient Representative office is located at the MacCharles Unit, 675 McDermot Ave.
Please feel free to call, e-mail or drop by the office. The Patient Representative will also meet with you at any CancerCare Manitoba site.
