Manitoba Breast & Women's Cancer Network
The Manitoba Breast & Women's Cancer Network - a vital link for supporting and informing all Manitobans.
The Manitoba Breast & Women's Cancer Network is made up of dedicated volunteers across the province working together to ensure resources and support around breast and women's cancer are available to women, men and their families.
Connecting communities and bringing information and support closer to home is a priority for the Network.
Originally called the Manitoba Breast Cancer Information and Support Network, the focus was breast health and cancer. By building on valuable lessons learned within this area, the Network extended its original goal of bringing information and raising awareness by sharing ideas and concerns and working together to make the most of available resources and support to Manitoba women facing other cancers, starting with gynecological cancers.
The expanded Network shows how our communities are working together to improve services to Manitobans. Shared at many levels, the work of this group takes place in the region, throughout the province and across Canada.
There are Regional Networks in the following regions:
- Assiniboine
- Brandon
- Burntwood
- Central
- Churchill
- Interlake
- NOR-MAN
- North Eastman
