School Of Radiation Therapy

The School of Radiation Therapy at CancerCare Manitoba has been training radiation therapists for over 60 years in the unique requirements necessary to provide this specialized care.

This 28-month diploma program is the only program in Manitoba, and is offered in partnership with Red River College. Students graduate from CancerCare Manitoba.

Manitoba students are joined in the classroom in Year I by students from Saskatchewan and New Brunswick. Currently the average class size is 12-14 students per year with 5-7 of these from Manitoba.

CancerCare Manitoba is in discussion for a shared degree program between the University of Winnipeg and CancerCare Manitoba (CCMB) that builds on the current 28 month diploma program.
