Clinics and Lead Physicians



The UPCON Network works with over 40 lead physicians/nurse practitioners who act as liaisons between CancerCare Manitoba and the other primary health care providers in the partner sites.


Each lead clinician has dedicated time to:
  • Learn about the use of the electronic health record used by CCMB
  • Guide patients and clinic staff in navigation of the cancer care system
  • Reinforce their knowledge about oncology topics by attending ongoing UPCON sponsored educational sessions.
