The Radiation Therapy Program promotes effective co-operation amongst all areas involved in Radiation Therapy services for the province of Manitoba, following the mandate and mission statement as set out by the CCMB.
It is the goal of this program to optimize the delivery of these services through the effective use of human, physical and financial resources in order to provide the greatest benefit to the patients and their families.
The Program endeavours to support a multidisciplinary team approach to the effective and humane delivery of all aspects of the radiation therapy process. This includes a commitment to recognize, utilize and respect the diverse professional skills within the team, and promote research and continuing education in order to improve the quality of care given.
