 Meet CancerTalk - CancerCare Manitoba's information resource for Family Physicians and Primary Health Care Providers. Family physicians care for patients during the workup and diagnosis of a suspected cancer, support them during treatment, and provide follow-up care when treatment is completed. Cancer patients benefit from regular contact with their family doctor, but they make up a small proportion of a family physician's practice, and staying current is challenging. With ongoing research, advances in cancer diagnosis, treatment and follow-up care are occurring at a fast pace. We hope that CancerTalk will keep you abreast of these developments. CancerTalk is published a minimum of twice yearly and each new issue will be posted on this web site. |
