CCMB will host the 2012 full day symposium for family physicians, Nurse Practitioners and primary health care providers to learn more about caring for patients with cancer. Presentations will be provided by a variety of specialists and experts on cancer prevention and screening, treatment innovations, and on follow-up issues for the major cancer sites.

Presently family physicians and nurse practitioners provide care with a focus on health promotion, screening and prevention, and will be looking after more and more cancer patients in follow-up care in the years to come.
