Of more than $6.6 million raised in Manitoba in 2007-08, more than $2.5 million came from special events created and inspired by people throughout the province. These everyday heroes are partners with CancerCare Manitoba and the Foundation, and their energy and enthusiasm help fund crucial research, equipment, vital patient care and support for all Manitobans and their families living with cancer.
