The Department of Therapy Physics oversees the delivery of radiation therapy. The group is responsible for developing and implementing new radiation therapy processes at CCMB. We ensure that patient treatments are designed correctly and administered accurately. In addition, the Department purchases, acceptance tests and commissions radiation therapy equipment. Once in clinical use, the Therapy Physics monitors the performance levels of these machines through custom QA programs.
