Job Summary:

Our experienced team is committed to providing a comprehensive radiation protection services and possesses the mandate of a regulatory role in the Province. We deliver a wide range of radiation protection services encompassing ionizing and non-ionizing areas including radiotherapy, diagnostic radiology, radionuclide areas, industry and research and development activities and also present teaching and training programs. Depending on your experience, you will have the opportunity to gain experience in many of these areas.



  • Graduate of an approved Radiological Technology Program (Radiography, Radiotherapy or Nuclear Medicine) or a university degree majoring in Physics or other directly related discipline.
  • Practical experience in radiation protection.
  • Excellent English comprehension with both written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must possess a valid Class 5 driver's license.
  • Ability to travel to other facilities up to 30% of the time.
  • Ability to perform physical activities such as lifting equipment up to 50Lbs, pushing and pulling of carts.
  • Proficient with MS Word/Excel/Outlook and internet use.
  • Good employment record.

  • Ability to adapt to stressful work situations.

This position requires a degree of flexibility in the scheduling of work hours and will require the incumbent to work non-conforming shift patterns.
